Prior information notices
The largest PIN of the week comes from the Scottish Government, which is planning to update its framework for smartphones, mobile workstations and tablet devices. The deal will enable public sector organisations from across Scotland to procure mobile devices from a single manufacturer. It’s expected that the framework will be in place by March 2020.

Tenders
The University of Ulster is searching for a programme management provider to help deliver new online courses. The contract is worth up to £40m and the deadline for applications is 6 November.

Awards
SCD Group has won one of the largest awards of the week: a contract worth up to £50m to deliver North Yorkshire’s local full-fibre network project. The deal will bring “gigabit capable fibre capacity” to public sector sites across the county, according to the notice, and remain in place for 20 years.
