Tenders
The Ministry of Defence has issued one of the largest tenders of the week: a framework for IT professional services worth up to £1.5bn. The framework will allow the MoD to hire contractors to carry out digital and IT roles. The closing date for applications is 1 July.

Awards
The tech consulting giant CGI has secured the largest award revealed last week: a £24m contract to provide the Ministry of Defence with in-service support for its fire control battlefield information system. The contract was signed at the end of August and will remain in place for more than six and a half years.
