This is the latest instalment of an exclusive series analysing the UK’s biggest public sector tech deals. In partnership with GlobalData, we’ve drilled down into the most valuable tenders and awards from the last seven days. Here’s what we found this week…
The top prior information notices
This week’s featured PIN
Buyer: Ministry of Justice
Title: Framework: Enterprise Resource Planning Software as a Service (ERP SaaS) solution
The lowdown: After a dearth of prior information notices that lasted several months, we’re finally seeing a surge of high-profile PINs. One of the most intriguing comes from the Ministry of Justice. The department is setting up a £100m framework covering enterprise resource planning software that may be rolled out to other ministries across Whitehall. If it is, it would be a controversial move. As the GlobalData analyst Rob Anderson explained in a piece for NS Tech last week, the MoJ has a long and complicated history with shared services. Read Rob’s analysis here, and if you’re still keen to bid for the award, you can register your interest via the contact details listed here.
