The lowdown: The Financial Conduct Authority has unveiled plans to launch a new framework for data modelling, mapping and cataloguing tools as part of a strategy to “transform the way” it regulates and “reduce the burden on firms”. The regulator hasn’t yet revealed exactly when it will go out to tender, but has said that it will be in the next twelve months and that the process will be broken into specialised lots.
